A MESSAGE FROM COUNCIL MEMBER BALCOMBE
Good afternoon,
I am writing to inform you of an upcoming construction project along MD Route 121 (Clarksburg Road).
Beginning August 31st, crews will be working between 9AM and 3PM, Monday through Friday, to construct a Shared Use Path along MD Route 121 (Clarksburg Road). This work is anticipated to be completed in early December.
The impacts to the travel lanes include temporary northbound lane closures and flagger operations south of the round-a-bout at West Old Baltimore Road to install 2 manholes in the travel lane. Pedestrian detour signage will be installed throughout construction to provide sidewalk access for pedestrians. The majority of the work will commence without direct impacts to the travel lanes.
